A unique piece of art that depicts a young African child under the protection of an elephant, with both elephant and child under the umbrella of a full moon. Elephants are known to be one of the most intelligent, family oriented, socially intricate, and emotionally complex animals. Gifted with distinguished traits such as long retentive memory that helps them remember individual people, ability to empathize, their understanding of death, loyalty, etc. Because of these traits that set them apart, they are known to hold conventional wisdom and seen as a symbol of strength & power in Africa – A symbol of the continent itself.
